Israeli Government Sinks into the Sewer - Welcomes "Nazi" Pope

In a couple of days, traffic will be jammed in Jerusalem and the life of the average Jerusalemite will be totally miserable. Why? The sitting Bishop of Rome will make his presence known in our land. Like other bishops of Rome, he will do all he can NOT to recognize Jewish sovereignty over this nation, particularly Jerusalem. Like other Bishops of Rome, he will be catered to by the idiots who form the secular government of this country.

Why?

Because just like the wheedling ghetto Jews of the previous centuries, these idiots will consider it an utter honor that the Big Goy himself is coming to visit.

Boy oh boy! The Pope himself! Wow!

Of course, like the wheedling Jews of previous centuries, they will ask and beg and bow — well, all right, they won't bow, they have a bit more dignity than B. Hussein Obama, though not much. The attitude shown by Israeli government officials and rabbis alike is shameful! But this is the attitude they take. President Shim'on Peres will escort this man to Yad Vashem, our memorial to those who were murdered by the Nazis. And this man, Joseph Ratzinger, a former Nazi himself, will desecrate that memorial with his mere presence.

Like all foreigners who come here wagging their hypocritical fingers about "peace", this man has an agenda for controlling this nation. Ratzinger's is to see that Jerusalem is removed from Jewish control, internationalized (this was the Vatican proposal in 1948 and has remained its "solution" ever since) and to get control for the Vatican of the buildings immediately adjacent to the Dormition Abbey, built early in the last Christian century as the place where the crown prince of the German Empire was to be crowned, as though he were to be the new Holy Roman Emperor.

The Dormition Abbey was built to resemble almost exactly a similar chapel in Aix-la-Chapelle where Charlemagne was crowned 1209 years ago.

Unfortunately, Crown Prince Louis never got the chance to do this because his daddy, Wilhelm II of Germany, took his country into a general European war - and facing defeat, fled to Holland tossing his crown to the Kingdom of Prussia and the Empire of Germany into the trash. But the Vatican did not forget the chapel at all. There is a Catholic prophecy of sorts that the next bishop of Rome will be the last. Why would the Vatican be applying so much of its muscle to get control of the Diaspora Yeshiva and the Sephardi Synagogue of Mount Zion which are both adjacent to the Dormition Abbey on Mount Zion?

Rumor has it that the Vatican wants to present this last Bishop of Rome, who is supposed to go under the name "Peter the Roman," from the Dormition Abbey on Mount Zion.

Get it? The law shall go forth from Zion! Mount Zion!

Catholics view themselves as the "real" Israel, the Chosen of G-d, and that we Jews, ever since Judas betrayed Jesus to the Romans for 30 pieces of silver, lost that place of primacy of being the Chosen People. So all this scheming and back-room haggling to get control of prime pieces of Jerusalem real estate, all the resentment over Jewish control of Jerusalem, all the efforts to kick us out of OUR capital, are all about the Vatican's designs to push their theology down everyone's throat and reverse the "damage" done by Jewish sovereignty over Jerusalem.

In that sense, the Catholic Vatican is no different from the Persian's Shi'a Moslem little Hiter — Ahmadinejad — who wants to use the Temple Mount to present the Mahdi, the Moslem version of the messiah, to the world as its ruler.

The Israeli government has the sense to treat Ahmadinejad as the enemy he is. But they do not have the sense to treat the bishop of Rome as the enemy that he is. If the bishop of Rome was as open and honest and straightforward with his plans as is Ahmadinejad, maybe the idiots on Government Hill in Jerusalem would understand. But these idiots are so used to seeing the bishop of Rome as the Big Goy, that they cannot see the evil designs of the Vatican that Ratzinger heads. And the Vatican is always in the habit of being secretive, of saying nothing as though all must bend their knees to the bishop of Rome. And the Israeli leaders (and loads of rabbis as well) act as if they must bend the knee also, even though they would not be caught dead actually bowing - like Obama was.

Only one group of people have the sense to welcome Ratzinger as what he is - a criminal.

According to Arutz Sheva "Pro-Land of Israel activists Baruch Marzel and Itamar Ben-Gvir will roll out the red carpet for Pope Benedict XVI’s arrival – by pressing criminal charges against him." According to Arutz Sheva, the criminal complaint details a record of treasures and possessions that belong to the Jewish People that are allegedly being held in the Vatican in Rome. Among the treasures claimed are vessels plundered from the Temple by the Romans under the command of then-general Titus, including the seven-branched golden Menorah.

While I'm not sure of all the legalities, it would appear that the Vatican is the closest one can get to a "successor in interest" to the Roman Empire. And claims have been made over the centuries that the Vatican sits on the Temple treasure. Whether those claims are true are for a court — armed with sub-poena power and the right to force the Vatican to open its doors, at gunpoint if necessary — to decide.

Otherwise, we do not know.

But even if it isn't true, the Bishop of Rome will at least be met as a criminal, which is what faces Israeli leaders in Europe for truly fictional crimes. Their only crime, where they may have actually done it, was to defend the Jewish nation against genocidal Arab savages bent on massacring it. It's important that Europeans get a taste of what they are dishing out, and Karl Ratzinger is a European. The Europeans have hated us for centuries because of their "religion of love," Christianity. They have actualized that hatred into rapes, massacres, murders, discrimination, and finally a holocaust of a third of our people. In the last two decades, these scum have done all they can to de-legitimize our country, and to ban our religious customs from being practiced in their own countries. Turning Europe into a Jewish graveyard was not enough for them, apparently.

So, let the warrants be served - and let the European scum understand how lowly we truly hold them. Now, let the bastards have a real reason to hate us.

An Open Letter to the Officials of Minnesota Concerning Security at the Mall of America in Light of the Attack on Mumbai

Here's hoping that in the light of the attack on Mumbai by terrorists in late November, they pay attention.

Dear gentlemen (and ladies),

My name is Reuven Kossover, and I used to live in the Twin Cities for about two decades before moving with my family to Israel to live.

I'm writing this to you because my wife has family in St. Paul and suburbs, and they commonly go to the Mall of America to shop, dine out, what have you. So, this is a personal matter for me, rather than some citizen wagging his finger at you with public concerns and time-wasting whining.

I notice this because this was sent out by Tamar Yonah, a host on the internet radio station Israel National Radio, otherwise known by its Hebrew name " 'Arutz Sheva". This is the link to the article found at Israel National News.com. This is a live link. Click on it and you will go the article itself.

I'm also sending this out because I have a relative who might be in a position to do something to protect his own family, not to mention the millions who visit the Mall of America yearly, a captain with the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. I'm also writing this out of concern for the Jews who live in the Twin Cities area, who would, as Jews in Mumbai were, be targeted in a terrorist attack.

The Twin Cities and Bloomington are inland ports, unlike Mumbai. Americans will have already been alerted to the possibility of a major terrorist attack on a seaport - for example the shopping mall near 25th Avenue (Bay Parkway) in Brooklyn.

The Mall of America is a major tourist attraction for the state of Minnesota, not to mention the city of Bloomington. Unlike the Minnesota State Fair, which runs for ten days at the end of summer, the Mall of America is open nearly 365 days a year. I will confine my concerns here to the security of Minnesotans and tourists to Minnesota.

According to the article below, Director of the Northeast Intelligence
Network Douglass L. Hagmann was interviewed on Israel National
Radio's Weekend Edition and said that attacks like those in Mumbai
will happen again. From the article:

"Hagmann is a private investigator and security and surveillance
expert who provides information for the FBI, Homeland Security and
other agencies. He's also the author of "Tactical Surveillance" an
investigative manual that is used at Henley-Putnam University as one
of the core texts in the criminal justice program.

Hagmann wants the public to know, "I've personally investigated
potential terrorists who are in this country [USA] that appear to be
training for just such scenarios." He went on to explain that he has
evidence of Muslim groups training in the Catskills. They train with
automatic weapons and the loud spats of gunfire are unsettling and
disturbing to those neighbors who reside nearby. The most disturbing
thing Hagmann says is that during surveillance of this Muslim group
it was discovered that they have video of them practicing shooting up
a yellow school bus they had brought onto their property. The school
bus target shooting is disturbing because it could be a sign to come
of a future terror attack on American school children.

What about immediate targets?

Hagmann states that the Mall of America is a prime target for Islamic
terrorists. "The terrorists have published their desires to create an
attack against American civilians in a retail shopping outlet. Number
one, for the body count, number two, for the ease of the target and
thirdly, they don't care if they kill women and children, in fact,
all the better, and number four, it would have a serious economic
effect on the country."

Now, let's examine the possibilities for such an attack. There is in the Twin Cities a large Somali population that could be recruited for such an operation. Bear in mind that only ten individuals attacked Mumbai, a city of 18 million souls. Somalis are preferable to others simply because being black, they are not appreciably different in appearance from the native-born black-Americans. Profiling them would create an outcry of bigotry from politically correct Minnesotans, of whom there appear to be a large number.

So, that is the best recruiting pool. The second best recruiting pool would be Arabs who bear a strong resemblance to Mexicans - of whom there are many in the Twin Cities area. The same issues regarding racial profiling would apply to Arabs as would apply to Somalis, for the same reasons.

This would a suicide attack, because once the terrorist attackers engaged the acquisition of hostages and targets, the chance of their negotiating their live exit from target areas would be slim to none. So the concentration must be on swift liberation of target areas seized., as murdering hostages would not be an issue for the terrorists. There would be no hostages in the real sense of the word, merely prisoners seized for execution by terrorists, for the purpose of spreading terror and fear.

Now let's look at some of the security issues. Please do not think that I am trying to tell you how to do your jobs here. But having shopped numerous times at the Mall of America, I know just how easy it was to get in and get out. But the last time I went to shop there was in August, 2001. I do not know how easy approach to the Mall of America is today - whether there is real security presence there or not, whether entrants are checked for weapons, etc. But my memory tells me that there were at least four entrances and exits and all of them need to be covered - as well as motels in the vicinity and transit hubs (like the stations for the light rail that now runs there). This would be to cover the potential targeting of the general population of Minnesota, considering how the general population of Mumbai was targeted in much the same way.

But we come to an additional issue here, the likely targeting of the Haba"d House in the Twin Cities, or of major synagogues either in St. Paul or its immediate suburbs. It must not be forgotten that while Kashmir may have been a "screen issue" for the terrorists in Mumbai, the real goals were to bring Mumbai to its knees - and to torture and kill Jews.

So, the rabbis in charge of the Haba"d House and its associated institutions in the Twin Cities must be consulted with as to seeing to it that the security of those associated with it is safeguarded. I mention the Haba"d House and its affiliated institutions because they are the most obvious targets - but two conservative synagogues, a day school and perhaps one office in the Highland area of St. Paul are also likely targets. In this communication, I will not mention names. This communication is not encrypted.

I realize that Mumbai is far, far away. and for the most part, aside from commercial or family considerations, what occurs on the Indian subcontinent or the Middle East is of little concern for the average Minnesotan. I certainly felt that way myself for most of the time that I lived in the Twin Cities. Whether the Vikes make it to the Superbowl, or whether the firm one works for is healthy in a very difficult economic climate is a far more relevant concern - until terrorists, well organized and well trained, strike and kill innocents in your midst.

It is for this reason that I beg you, that I implore you to pay close attention to this letter. I myself can only address the security issues you face in the most skeletal way. But I still have family in Minnesota, and I do not want to see them die as a result of a terror attack that could be prevented.

Honoring Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and Rebbetzin Rivka Holtzberg, Martyrs of the Jewish People Who Died in Mumbai

As Mumbaikars mourn their many dead and comfort their many injured, Rabbi Holtzberg and his pregnant wife were buried in Jerusalem today.

It may not be clear what the Haba"d does or why. Let this tale from my own life be an illustration.

When I was living on the streets of Saint Paul twenty-five years ago, there were barely any Jewish agencies to help homeless Jews. But there was the Haba"d House. On a cold winter day I walked from downtown to a large residence in the Highland Park neighborhood and knocked on the door. I was tired and hungry. I was welcomed in as though I were a lost son.

The rabbi didn't care that I didn't know what blessings to say over the food (I do now). The rabbi didn't care whether I was dressed as he deemed a Jew ought to dress. He didn't care that I had not said the afternoon prayer or the evening prayer. None of this interested him. The Rabbi offered me food. He was concerned that I had not eaten a decent meal, and insisted on feeding me a decent meal. He asked how it was that I came to be homeless. The story was simple and I told it to him.

I ate, drank some soda. I ate some more. When I was satisfied and full he made his proposition: if I wanted, he would pay for my transport to study Torah, Talmud and all the things a Jew should concentrate on learning. This would be either in Jerusalem or in Brooklyn. I was interested. I wanted very much to go to Israel. But I didn't want to grow the beard I had shaven off in law school; I already had a streak of white hair in my beard from the spot I had pulled at and pulled at in tension trying to comprehend principles in case law. I had forgotten how to wrap tefillin around my arm and head and it embarrassed me terribly (I know now). And most of all, as nice as this guy was, I didn't want to lose my intellectual independence.

So I thanked the rabbi, and told him I would get back to him with an answer in a few days. I never did. He knew he had not made his sale. But, nevertheless, he paid for a motel room for me to sleep in. I showered, and shaved and cleaned all the dirt from the street off of me. I watched cable TV. The next morning I was a homeless bum again.

This rabbi did for me what Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his wife Rivka, z"l, hy"d (may their souls be remembered for blessings and may G-d avenge their blood), did for thousands and thousands of Jews passing through Mumbai. They served kosher meals, they explained Torah and Law and tried to do with each of these Jews what the rabbi at the St. Paul Haba"d House had attempted to do with me - to draw me closer to G-d. They gave them a place to sleep and rest their weary heads.

That is their mission. That is the mission the Lubavicher Rebbe gave them many years ago - to reach out and get Jews to perform mitzvót - commandments and good deeds - and thus draw them to G-d bit by bit. If asked, they will explain to non-Jews the Seven laws of Noah, which we Jews believe to be universal laws binding all of mankind. But they will not proselytize nor attempt to convince a non-Jew to become a Jew, nor will they preach the Seven Laws of Noah.

Last week, terrorists, whose actual aims remain unclear, tortured and murdered Rebbetzin Rivka Holtzberg along with seven other Jews at the Haba"d headquarters in the Nariman House in Mumbai, a place they had carefully targeted. Just before Indian Commandos liberated the Nariman House, they murdered Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg. His body was found still warm. And that is why they were buried today. Another couple will continue their work in Mumbai. The Haba"d will not be deterred by the evil of a terrorist. They will light not merely a candle in the darkness, they will light a torch to drive away the darkness.

This link is a You tube video of an Israel National News report of the funeral of Rav Gavriel and Rebbetzin Rivka Holtzberg, zikhronám l'brakhá v'HASHEM y'nakém damám. It is about eight minutes long. I ask you to watch. It says more than this Jew in the mountains of Samaria can, no matter how hard he tries. Rav Holtzberg and his wife Rivka are survived by their son Moshe; may he become a great man in Israel.

Signs of Redemption

Aryeh Gallin, a friend of mine who is the head of Root & Branch in J-lem, had to travel back to the States to watch over his ailing father. He was there for quite a while, and his father experienced a complete recovery, thank G-d. He called me up a while ago when he got back to tell me of his experiences at the various airports he had been to, Kennedy, Heathrow and Ben-Gurion. This is what he told me.

When he got to Kennedy for his flight to Heathrow, the place was empty. He was astonished at how empty one of the busiest airlines in the world could be. He bought a cup of coffee and asked the person at the counter if they had ever seen anything like it. The counterperson said she had never see the place so empty. He asked if some kind of alert was on or something, and received a negative answer. He boarded his flight. When he got to Heathrow, he saw the same thing. The English airport was empty. He bought a juice from a juice stand, again asking the counterperson why the airport was so empty or if it had ever been like this before (maybe it was a juice stand in Kennedy and a coffee shop in Heathrow) .Again, he was told the airport had never been so empty. He inquired if the fact that it was a Wednesday might be the reason, and was told that the airport was usually a lot busier. Again he boarded, this time on his flight for home. He arrived at Ben-Gurion and encountered a strange phenomenon. People were busily coming in; virtually nobody was leaving.

The obvious reason appeared to be that Israelis, seeing how bad things were in the world, were not parting with their money. His own assessment was that Redemption was near and folks were returning home.

Many Israelis living in the United States have approached the Israeli
consulates in North America recently, asking for their help in getting back
to Israel.

According to the report, dozens of Israelis who have lost their money in the
financial crisis sweeping through the US have been pleading with the local
Israeli bureaus to help them pay for a plane ticket back to the Jewish state.

Eli Yifrach, the Israeli consul general to Florida, said that the Miami
office gets several calls to that effect every day: "We've had cases of
Israelis telling us they were being evicted from their homes, after
faltering on their mortgage payments."

Another official with a different consulate said that his offices has had
Israelis call in and ask for financial help to buy food. "In one case, I
gave an Israeli $100 for food, and I know many contact Chabad centers and
synagogues for food," he said.

Sharon Glassman, of the Immigrant Absorption Ministry, told Yedioth Ahronoth
that the ministry was "aware of several humanitarian cases of Israelis who
reported that they could not afford airfare.

"Absorption Ministry Director-General Erez Halfon has instructed us to look
into ways in which we can cooperate with the Foreign Ministry and form an
aid fund which will help those in need to purchase tickets back to Israel."

While you're mulling that over, take a look at these two sites. The first illustrates the limits of the Torah Code. It cannot be used as a predictive tool. As you examine this article from Kabbalah.torah-code.org, http://www.kabbalah.torah-code.org/torah_codes/obama_mccain/obama_mccain_1.shtml, you will see that found in the Torah Code was both an array indicating that McCain would be president of the United States, and an array indicating that Obama would be president. Both could not occur, but both were possibilities. The Torah Code is IMHO, a reflection of the Holy One, an Entity Who can contemplate ALL possibilities. What the Torah Code really is, is the proof that there was only One Author for the Torah. Believers like me will say that this Author was G-d, but that is not the point. It is proof positve that all the nonsense put forth about different authors, using different names of G-d, is just a pack of garbage and should be so regarded.

The second site is far more scary. For years, rabbis and m'kubalim have believed that George Bush, both father and son were Gog. After all, the Bush family originated in the Gog and Magog Valley in England, George W. Bush was called Goggie in the Skull and Bones Society, etc. So we see this argument put forth at the Dreaming of Moshiach http://dreamingofmoshiach.blogspot.com/2008/11/obama-is-not-gog.html website. Earlier, we find the blogger laying out possible descriptions of Gog http://dreamingofmoshiach.blogspot.com/2008/10/after-receiving-many-emails-claiming.html, and arguing that these descriptions best fit George W. Bush.

So the second site that I'm sending you to http://yehudiyerushalmi.blogspot.com/2008/11/obama-gog-hint-in-yechezkel-38.html was blogged about on 5 November , the day after Barack Obama was elected. The blogger went to Ezekiel 38:1-4. This is the text in Hebrew:

Every seventh letter from the aleph in the word "nasi" is marked in red, spelling out the following in Hebrew:

This has been there for as long as the Book of Ezekiel has; this is how Obama is spelled in the Hebrew newspapers that have been covering his phenomenal rise to power since he sought the candidacy for the presidency in 2007. The encoded letters appear immediately after the name Gog of the Land of Magog, hinting, among other things, that "Gog" is not one individual but a series of individuals. Thus the claims that Bush, father and son are Gog can be true, AND Obama also.

One final point, a cherry on the cake of prediction, here. For this we must go back to the Dreaming of Moshiach blog-site at http://dreamingofmoshiach.blogspot.com/2008/09/aliya-now.html . Upon close reading, we find that the blogger is a Satmar lady. She writes here, "At at least two locations, he gave a very strong and direct message, that Jews must move to the Holy Land NOW!!! R' Shwartz is not any kind of "zionist...."

The Satmar generally care little for the State of Israel or for the Zionist movement that created it. When a Satmar talks about "Aliya Now!" it is truly time to pay attention.

Background - Four Thousand Years Ago

The tall man stood before the council of the city. The elders of the Children of Heth listened patiently as the man who had lived for decades among them stood, grief stricken but dignified, as he explained his request.

The man standing before the Hittite council had grown up in Ur, where his father had been a high priest to the Sumerian king. He had gone with his father and family to Paran after the king died. There TeraH, his father, carved idols. His son tried to explain to his father that idols of wood and stone were mere vanity, that they could accomplish nothing, even if they looked like the powerful magicians who had held Sumer in their thrall for centuries. It was only after the son destroyed all the idols but one, placing a hammer in the hand of the biggest, then claiming that the big idol had destroyed the others, that his father began to understand his son's claims.

For a time, his father stopped worshipping the images of the powerful magicians who had helped build Sumer's civilization, magicians he had beheld occasionally in person. However, he returned to his idol worship; the habits of a lifetime were too strong to break.

His son had left Paran with his wife and nephew for a land in the west, following a Voice that came to him, a Voice that promised him children, a Voice that tested him harshly in Its commands. In this land in the west, he had had to rescue his nephew from marauding kings, using talents only a nobleman in Sumer would know, commanding light cavalry traveling from the south of his adopted home to the north. He negotiated with the pharaoh of Egypt and with the king of the Philistines. He had watched as powerful magicians (called angels in the Torah) went to destroy his nephew's home city in the lush areas to the east of where he had settled; he negotiated even with the Voice that had commanded him, seeking to save the righteous from the wrath of an angry Entity.

His nephew's home was destroyed, but the nephew and his two daughters were rescued. His own home country, Sumer, was also destroyed. He and his family, both in Canaan and Paran, were all who remained of the "black haired people" who had been his countrymen.

The Voice that had guided him west to Canaan promised this man that he would be a father of nations, and he had two sons, one by a servant of his deceased wife, and one by the strangely beautiful woman who bore the name "Princess", Sarah.

It was on behalf of this woman Sarah that Abraham stood before the Children of Heth who ruled Hebron. He sought a burial place for her, and ultimately for himself as well. After all, he was 137 years old. He could not expect to live forever, as the powerful magicians of Sumer had seemed to.

The members of the council had high respect for Abraham. They said, "You are a prince of G-d in our midst; in the choicest of our burial places bury your dead, any of us will not withhold his burial place from you, from burying your dead"

Abraham singled out one man for his attention, Ephron, the son of Zohar. Ephron owned the MaHpela Cave at the edge of a field. He bowed to the members of the council, saying, "…let him grant it to me for its full price in your midst, as an estate for a burial site."

Ephron stood up before the council saying, "I have given you the land, bury your dead". Ephron had included in this offer not only the cave, but also the field immediately adjacent, which was also his. Abraham rejected Ephron's generous offer, insisting on paying full price for the land – four hundred silver shekels of negotiable currency – as huge sum of money. Abraham weighed out the four hundred shekels in front of the council, and it was confirmed in front of the council of the Children of Heth, who ruled Hebron, that the land belonged to Abraham and his descendants.

One would assume that if the Children of Heth were civilized enough to respect a real estate transaction that had been legitimately made, that four thousand years later the descendants of Abraham, Israelis sitting on a High Court of Justice could do the same.

Fast Forward Four Thousand Years

The stately honor shown in the Torah to a man of G-d is not replicated in the "Zionist Entity" created by his G-d-hating descendants. We move from the dignity of the Council of Elders of Heth to the indignity and injustice of the so-called High Court of Justice of the State of Israel in today's hardscrabble world.

The modern city of Hebron is largely inhabited by Arabs who moved there during the days of the British Mandate over this country. There had been a Jewish community in Hebron for centuries, but Arab rioting in the 1920's (encouraged by the British) and a 1929 massacre resulted in the evacuation of Jews from the city. In the 1948-49 war that resulted after the British left the Mandate and turned over all of their fortifications and non-movable armament to the Arabs, the brand new IDF defeated all the Arab invaders except one - the British trained and led Arab Legion of Transjordan. The territory that the Arab Legion managed to hold on to west of the Jordan River, land properly known as Judea and Samaria, was annexed to the renamed Kingdom of Jordan. But virtually nobody recognized that annexation.

In 1967, the Jordanians bombarded West Jerusalem, their part of a tripartite pact between Egypt, Syria and Jordan; the Israel Defense Force liberated Jerusalem and rapidly drove Jordanian forces from the towns of the three administrative districts the Jordanians had set up. Even though an Israeli judge, Meir Shamgar, erroneously decided that the territory liberated in 1967 was "occupied territory", and the government of Israel erroneously refused to assert its right to all of the Mandate for Palestine that had arisen under international law and to annex it to the State; in spite of all this, almost immediately Jews went to resettle the city of Hebron, and Gush Etzion, the bloc of villages north of Bethlehem whose residents were massacred after surrendering to Arab forces on 14 May, 1948.

The government of Israel, unable or unwilling to understand that the entire territory west of the Jordan River that it had liberated from Arab rule belonged by right to Israel, kept trying to unload it on Jordan. The Jordanian king Hussein remembered the fate of his grandfather Abdallah, who had been assassinated on the Temple Mount in 1951, allegedly for negotiating with the Jews. Possessed of the natural desire to stay alive, he eschewed any claim over the territory west of the Jordan River. The Israeli government found itself torn over what to do with the land that was theirs, the cradle of Hebrew civilization they kept trying to escape. In the mean-time the Jewish settlement in and around Hebron grew, even though it was constantly hampered by the policies of the Israeli government.

There is said to be a list of 20,000 Jews who would move to Hebron if allowed to. If it exists, this list is ignored by the government entirely. Based on the number of Jews who visit Hebron for religious reasons, there is good reason to believe that tens of thousands of Jews would happily move to Hebron. But they are not allowed to. Instead, only 400 to 600 Jews live there. Not far from Hebron is another Jewish village, Qiryat 'Arba which has a population of about 5,000. There is a road, called "the worshipers route" that leads from Qiryat 'Arba to the Cave of MaHpela, which today serves as both a mosque and synagogue. During the days of Arab rule, Jews were barred from this cave, which is believed to hold the remains of Abraham, Sarah, Rebecca, Isaac, Jacob, Leah, and the headless skeleton of Esau.

This "worshipers route" route is often under fire and attack of one kind or another by Arabs, and a patrol exists to guard it, a patrol whose work is often hampered by the IDF, which is supposed to be guarding Israelis. Along this "worshipers route" is a huge structure, bought last year from an Arab. This building is Bet haShalom, the Peace House, and it is the subject of so much dispute. According to the Arutz Sheva report referenced here, when this house was first occupied last year, MK Chaim Oron (Meretz) said that the issue is not whether or not the property was legally bought, but the separation of populations. He called upon the government "to throw them out of there fast."

That appears to have been the reason for the government's opposition to Jews occupying the building. It is opposed to Jews worshiping in Hebron except under the most restrictive circumstances. This house would help secure the "worshipers' route". The government is opposed to Jews living in Hebron at all, even though it was the home of Abraham, the man who is our ancestor.

In spite of a video presented to the court by the buyers of the home attesting to its purchase, as well as all the other documentation normally presented in a real estate transaction in this country, the court refused to accept the sale as legitimate. Instead, they have ordered the goons of the so-called government of Israel, the "Yassam" to evict the residents from their own legitimately bought home. They gave all sorts of technical excuses for ordering the expulsion, but the bottom line is that the court ignored the legal documents upon which all buyers of property in Israel rely, and in doing so, have thrown into question the rule of law that supports the court's own existence.

According to an e-mail I received on 18 November 2008, "The Israeli Supreme Court ruled Sunday (16 November 2008) that the residents of Bet HaShalom (the Peace House) in Hebron have three days to evacuate their legally purchased homes."

According to the story released on 17 November by Arutz Sheva, "leaders called on backers to protect the Peace House in Hebron 'with their own bodies' to prevent the government from carrying out a High Court ruling Sunday ordering the expulsion of more than 20 families. The court rejected evidence that Jews bought the building and said all residents must leave until the issue is settled in a civil court." There was to be an emergency assembly held Tuesday evening to attempt to deal with the issue of this illegal expulsion, an assembly that was to include the notable citizens of the Jewish towns and villages in Judea and Samaria.

But this dispute has opened all sorts of old wounds in the ongoing Kulturkampf in Israel, with leftist commentators from the government controlled Voice of Israel launching a campaign of incitement against nationalists, a campaign it has waged unceasingly since before the Oslo Accords were signed in 1994. This campaign started when the government of Israel made a basic decision to drive Jewish residents out of the land it intended to give (illegally) to the Arabs under the aëgis of the "Palestinian Authority". Since then, no effort has beern spared to demonize the Jewish residents of Gaza, Judea and Samaria and to overlook the barbaric terrorism perpetrated by the Arabs living there, fueled by both el-FataH and Hamas.

The determination of Hebron's Jewish residents to resist illegal expulsions by the so-called "government of Israel" stems from what they saw happen to those expelled from their homes in Gush Qatif in 2005. According to the above referenced report by Arutz Sheva, "initial reports by the Israeli media indicated a campaign against nationalists would continue, and Voice of Israel government radio said that statements against the High Court, calling it a 'High Brothel' and 'High Court of Sodom,' are incitement. Media commentators also recalled the murder of Prime Minister YitzHak Rabin, who was assassinated by Herzliya resident Yigal Amir."

At the meeting Tuesday night, a packed hall heard preparations for confronting police when they are expected to arrive. According to Arutz Sheva, they heard "calls issued for people to be on standby 24 hours a day to rush to the area if forces approach the building, which Jews say was paid for in cash last year. One supporter from Givatayim demonstrated for the crowd how to use a gas mask in case of a chemical attack. 'I am not kidding,' he said. 'These people [police] hate us and I believe they want to kill [us].' Kiryat Arba-Hebron Rabbi Dov Lior told the crowd, 'This house, which was redeemed with blood, belongs to the people of Israel. We have not stolen it from anyone; we bought it. It should be seen as a symbol for how to stand up for the rights of the Israeli people.'"

This is not the only travesty of justice worked upon the citizens of Judea and Samaria by this régime of goons and thugs. Yesterday, homes near Kokhav Ya' acov, north of Jerusalem, and a mobile home near Shilo, just a few kilometers from where I live, were destroyed by the army, police and Arab workers. In addition, former residents of Gush Qatif, now internal refugees in their own country by their own government's order were again cheated of an opportunity to settle down in permanent homes by the very government that has made them refugees in their own land.

Investigator and independent reporter, David Bedein, stated the obvious in a video interview – that the "leaders" in Israel do not understand democracy.

According to this article in Haaretz, Security Minister Barak has 30 days to attempt to cause Jews in the Peace House to leave, after which it will be forcibly evacuated. Also according to this article, Aryeh Eldad of the National Union Party warned, "Anyone who tries to raise a hand at the peace house in Hebron will long for Amona, and will find that Amona was nothing," referring to the violent riots that accompanied the government's evacuation and destruction of 'Amona in Samaria.

It appears that a season of violent confrontations await the police and the "government" of Israel which is demonstrating to one and all that the rule of law is worthless in the Zionist Entity, and that the Hebrew saying "this is not a state of law, it’s a joke of a state" is all too true.

A Second Arab Attack via Bulldozer in Jerusalem

Author's Note: About an hour after this article was published, my wife called. She was able to get the SIM card into her phone and so her phone was again in order. She is safe.

She will be able to downtown from the Central Bus Station, which is northwest of the city center. But those who live in the south of the city, neighborhoods like the German Colony, Greek Colony, Armon haNetziv, etc., will have far more difficulty going through Keren haYesod, which goes towards the center of town near Hotel Row.

Traffic on the streets west of Keren haYesod near Government Hill, Gan Soccer, and the Wolfson Medical Center will be maddeningly slow. The injured have mostly been taken to Sha'are Tzedek Hospital, where I was treated for a heart attack some years back.

Ma'ale Levona, 15:45

Reports came into us here in Ma'ale Levona first via cell phone, then via Arutz Sheva, then via Ha'aretz of a second Arab "bulldozer" attack. Fortunately, at this writing, around 15:45, Israel Summer Time, no one has been killed, thank G-d.

According to the cell phone report, a young man checking the Hebrew Internet at 14:20 reported five injured at the intersection of King David Street and Keren haYesod Street. This is right near hotel row in central Jerusalem, and from this information alone, it appears that these attacks are a concerted attempt to drive away tourists during what has been, up until now, a record breaking year for tourism in this country. A friend of my son reports that it is impossible presently to get to the Central Bus Station from central Jerusalem. My wife is also in Jerusalem, on her way to the Central Bus Station having to pass north through Keren haYesod Street. Her cell phone is out of order, so we are out of contact.

According to Arutz Sheva, "The terrorist began his attempt to murder Jews on King David St. near the Yemin Moshe neighborhood. He took a tractor from a construction site, and began plowing into vehicles along the street, hitting three cars and a bus. When he reached the intersection of Keren HaYesod St., a citizen and Border Guard policeman shot and killed him. The entire incident was over very quickly, eyewitnesses said."

The head of Manhigut Yehudit faction of the Likud, Moshe Feiglin, also witnessed this attack. He said that his first impression of the attack was the tractor-shovel attempting to drop down upon a passerby. "At first I thought it was some kind of accident, but very quickly we realized that it was an attack. Thank G-d, it ended very quickly, because of the alertness of a passersby who shot him - I saw a man I know from the southern Judea community of Susia, but he was the first one to shoot the terrorist, and then the Border Guard policeman came and finished the story."

The man who first shot the terrorist was later announced to be Yaki Asael, 56, father of eight, from Susia, according to Arutz Sheva.

Ha'aretz reports "Driver shot dead; 16 hurt, one in serious condition." Note that the headline from Ha'aretz is careful not to call this a terror attack.

Moments ago I was on the phone with my cousin, he told me that another bulldozer attack occurred in Yerushalayim.

This time the attack was near the Gan Hapalmon or Liberty Bell Park. The Park is right between the Sheridan Hotel/Heichel Shlomo and Migdal David in the old City not far from the main post office and the interior ministry in Yerushalayim.

This time it was a smaller bulldozer as it was not a road-work earth moving massive bulldozer. Again the driver was shot first by a civilian and then by a border policeman. The regular policemen just aren't there in time. The attack occurred around 14:30 local time.
